This is my second or third Great Wall hobby 1/48th scale aircraft and I rate them up there with Meng,Takom, and Tamiya. The fit and finish is fantastic the instructions are clear and concise, decals are fantastic well worth the money. Five different marking schemes multiple different armament choices which gives you wonderful leftovers for the spares box.

Coming from a guy that crawled around those things for four years, that's a nice build.

Interesting, has the older bugeye antenna on the nose but no Pave Penny pod.

Any downvoters of this build can eat multiple bags of dicks.

Amazing work and such amazing detail! They used to fly over my house growing up and whenever I would hear one approaching, I'd run outside to watch them. My all-time favorite plane.

On another note...there are 6 downvotes on this post. Who the hell downvotes a post like this?

The Pave Penny pod was retired. Now the A10 can self designate with any number of underwing pods.

Yes.
What I was getting at is when I separated in May 1991 the bugeyes were getting replaced with flush mount units. The PP pod mount below the cockpit on the starboard side were still present.

My uncle flew one. He came back with a bunch of videos of him shooting camels using heat sensing radar. We all had dinner one night and the whole family watched them. Looking back, I wonder if they were actually camels….

He went to an F-16 after the A-10.
