Did you? If not, you should have. Love my friend’s Little Elm home on the lake. I’d move there in a heartbeat now that the kid is leaving for college.

I don’t drive over 80 on the tollway when I’m in the bright red cop magnet. And the Addison curves are the reason I like to take that car down there

and those are probably the heirs to some of that old money, it's funny how the old money folks tone down their "symbols of wealth," and are actually somewhat frugal

regretfully no, a big regret, I had about five acres overlooking the lake that I bought for under $30k, sold it when we moved to FL thinking we'd never be back, I'd love to have had that property to build on when we moved back

And yet still make sure their names & faces are represented at every major event. You should have seen the jockeying taking place at Jerry Jones’ Lifetime Achievement Award dinner a few weeks ago. Def some elbow jabs thrown

If you're driving south on Preston, right when it hits Armstrong and turns into Oak Lawn, Jerral's crib is on the left

I am amazed the OT sleuths have not dug up the info on Anthony's parents yet or more info on Karmelo himself.
Nobody around here is interested in fricking with the kid's family.
We're gonna let the justice system handle this. Justice will be served

well, even with wealth, this area has always struck me as one of the most pretentious areas I've ever lived

If four cars arrive at a stop sign at the same time, the right of way is determined by the blue book value of the cars

both "affluent" areas, but Frisco is probably safer, crime wise
Yes, but Highland Park is in another stratosphere in comparison of wealth.
For instance you can buy a home in Frisco in the $350K range.....you cannot buy a lot in HP under $1-Millon. People buy $3Mill homes in HP to bulldoze just for the lot.
Crime is lower in Highland Park as well...
Frisco Crime
Highland Park Crime
I'm not knocking Frisco, it 's a nice, affluent area with high income, great schools, low crime...but so is Prosper, Plano, McKinney, etc every other upscale Collin Co. neighborhood.

what I meant was that HP and PH are "oases," surrounded nearby by some rough areas, Frisco is just sort of a small town sort of out there in the middle of other small towns, a crime a few blocks outside of Frisco may be kids putting soap in the fountain at the entrance to their gated community where as a crime a few blocks away from the other two might be murder, both stats

They created it the very same day that he died. That seems very odd.
Are the parents still together? Dad seems kind of shady.
I know the local pizzeria where the Mom and the two boys worked also had a gofundme for the family.
It's really not germane to the event, but struck me as odd.
