Friday Night Fights tonight

At the Friday's night Fights Gym on Oretha Castle Haley Blvd
They have been advertising these amature fights for a while and I heard they were fun. Passed by earlier and they were setting up a ring across Euterpe Street in the abandon lot. That area has really come a long way.... but anywho, I've heard that the fights and entertainment they put on is a damn good time.

Eta: also I know I mentioned possibly joining a gym a few weeks back. And this gym looks like it's one of the more put together and busy gyms and also possibly the closest one to my place. So inside they have a sign with the prices. Think it was something like: 1 month for $40, 3 months for $90, 1 year for $200.... also had seperate prices listed for X amount of training sessions for $X amount. Anyone know what really comes with the gym membership and if you would almost have to buy so many training sessions??

I went to something similar in Orlando.
I believe you could challenge a friend, pay some cash and as long as u were within x amount of lbs, u could go out and look like drunk fools trying to box.
The night i was there, it was funny, because the backstreet boys and n'sync almost got into a big hissy fight. All talking shite, acting like tough guys, it was quite funny, especially Joey Fatone acting tough.
