I've had to deal with stuff like this lately due to the deaths of my uncle and his partner...
been working out in my mind at this point who gets what of the personal stuff...D1, D2, and SS1 will split up my retirement shadowbox, my miniatures from my mess dress, and the decorations off of my Class A's...along with one of my top 3 framed decorations...
the remainder of my military stuff will go to LSU...I have some stuff that would be pretty interesting for a historian 50 years from now dealing with how the J-5 Individual Mobilization Augmentee Program was prepared for 9/11
there are things that should be simply burned...and there are things that will go to my nieces and nephews...
