I was just hoping that you were drunk enough to prove it. Lol.
It's pretty obvious that you're a cool old lady. Definitely have a good sense of humor.
We welcome your lil fine, sexy, smart, sarcastic arse to the td. :)

There are off campus apartments that are cheaper than dorms. You rent them from mid-August to July 31.
For example, there are 4 bedroom furnished units. Bedrooms are private but they might share a bathroom. Common area is kitchen and living room.
Each person has their own lease. If she knows someone planning on coming to LSU she can request they live together. Otherwise, it's pot luck.
Burbank Commons is one of those type places. There are other similar places.
As far as dorms go, I have no knowledge of them other than some are for Honors Students. Dorm life has changed since I was there many many years ago.

Thank you for the info! Only been to LSU once. It's beautiful.

Well, you're no fun. Waste of some wine if you ask me.

Avoid Tigerland apartments. They aren't what I described in the other post.
If you do off-campus housing, I recommend south of campus.
There is a bus route for LSU students. It's called TigerTrails. You can google that too.

Thanks again. I'm trying to learn as much as I can before we visit so I know what questions to ask and what areas to scope out.

Off campus housing
auaegirl, email me... lsutigr313@yahoo.com
I live near Burbank Commons and can give you the off-campus scoop. I'm not a student.

I did ChE and know of someone who did this. The rest of us just wanted to get through the 5-6 years of undergrad and then escape to the refineries, but if she can get it, more power (and money) to her.
