What if they made a deal with Time Warner and had CNN broadcast all their events

Advertisers see Raw's audience as poor rednecks. They get consistent ratings but aren't that sought after by advertisers. The commercials are all for junk food and video games.

Booker T works PPV pre-shows and is a fill-in commentator for RAW.

The last I heard of Konnan, he was doing a podcast.

Now that Daniel Bryan is on it, it's the B+ show.

Their advertisers are much better nowadays than what they had during the Attitude Era (like Lugz and Stacker 2).

This. I miss the Monday night wars.

It'll never get that high again. shite, an episode of Sunday Night Heat in March 99 did a 5.1. The May 10 99 Raw (that ran unopposed since TNT had the NBA playoffs instead of Nitro) did an 8.1 overall and a damn 8.6 for Briscoe and Patterson vs the Mean Street Posse.

Ah OK.

My favorite Konnan memory is Chris Jericho's WCW promo when he was feuding with Konnan.

(Konnan does not actually appear during this clip)

If you get consistent ratings with the masses you will kill it with advertisers. No different than NASCAR, which has a ton of advertisers.

Sell to the masses eat with the classes. Sell to the classes, eat with the masses. Lots of very rich people love broadway shows, but that would never make it on a network.
