F-250s and even F 150s are models they've been willing to bargain on quite a bit lately. When we bought my wife an explorer in 2015, we used the X-plan. At the time, that vehicle was high demand and they weren't moveing on the price much at all.

A couple of notes for the OP. Some dealers will try to imply any incentives do not apply, this is false. They are required to apply any Ford incentives in addition to the X-plan pricing, not sure about dealer specific incentives, though. And you will not get those inflated trade-in prices you would often get when not using one of these plans, like X-plan. That is because they inflate the sales price to make it look like you're getting a great price for your trade.

They aren't giving rebates or knocking much off of the new body style F-250s unless something has changed this week

Guess, I'm really going by a several months ago, I haven't been paying attention lately and I was only talking about the willingness to knock the sales price down, not incentives. I think truck nut sales must be up again as well

I get people using xplan if they aren't interested in negotiating a better price. A better price can be had I'm sure if you put in the time.

So what your saying is, ford offers 10k in rebates on a f150, I can get Invoice - 0.4% + $275 program fee, then take the 10k off? If so all the shite talking about how nice my Denali is maybe coming to an end next rebates they offer.

That was my experience, though I don't know the specifics of the pricing as others seem to. I thought the specifics of the pricing could vary from model to modelbut regardless of that it is set by Ford. X-plan pricing will get you a price prior to any factory incentives, you should be able to get that from the website and if you want to try to negotiate, do that first then pull out you X-plan code if it gets you a better price.
