No one can accuse her of sitting around and letting life pass her by.
She had a dream and she chased it. Not too damn many of us can say that.
RIP Jessi, you were all about it.

She knew her stuff, and knew what she was doing behind the wheel. She died chasing her dreams, and any of us should be so lucky no matter what those dreams may be. My daughter was one of her biggest fans. I haven't told her yet. I'm in for a long couple of days. Met her a couple of times at SEMA and other places. She was always first class, and never let her status go to her head. God rest her soal!!!

Sounds like perhaps there was a failure with the "car". Was the BF one of the wrenches?

Too soon?

Not sure, but at those speeds even a 2-3mph breeze can alter things. At high speeds things want to take flight no matter what.
Basically down force is the only thing that keeps wheels planted with enough traction to maintain stability. At certain speeds you design in drag/ anti-aerodynamics to compensate for that.
If she was going as fast as I've heard she was going then that sounds like she had an issue with throttle control/turbine run away. Basically the engine kept increasing in power despite what she may have done to prevent it from happening.

Just saw this on the evening news. Even though she understood the risks, a very sad and a terrible loss for all those close to her. RIP.
