On Monday night during the Saints game, HGTV aired the first episode of A Very Brady Renovation. I had kind of forgotten that I had set the DVR to record it. In any event, I was looking at my DVR saved shows last night and decided to watch it.

If you were born in the 50s or 60s and grew up on the Brady Bunch, you really should watch this show. About half way through I realized that I had a huge smile on my face and I had been smiling the entire show. And, I smiled for the entire remainder.

As a kid, I would have loved nothing better than to have lived in the Brady Bunch house. I thought it was the coolest house in the world.

Well, this show is bringing it back. There a few HGTV show stars involved but it's mainly the Property Brothers who are GREAT in it.

One caveat -- DVR it and watch it that way because it's 1.5 hours and there are a TON of commercials that you will want to speed through.

ETA: All of the Brady kids are involved. During the first episode, Marcia and Peter were the two most involved but it looks like all will have contributions in future episodes.

I recorded it for my wife, but hope to God that she never watches it.
