That could be the media’s fault as so many seemed to jump to slur as justification, and we may be missing something like a reasonable threat of great bodily harm to someone at business that may have justified doing the same first. I haven’t read much on the event outside of article in OP & some laws brought up, but what I have read implies the slur triggered challenge to say it again and then slur repeated triggered punch. It would suck if there is more to it than is being reported due to slurs or alleged slurs in some cases becoming the quick go to justification of the responses or actions of blacks over actual facts involved.
