Don’t want to let someone else take the depreciation hit? Maybe get one a year or two older?

Fixed wing?

If YES...just find a chimpanzee and ask him to show you.

Student medical will be a breeze

If you are under 30, looking for another career, and have the aviation itch, I would look at continuing past a PPL. The demand for pilots is high now and only going to get higher in the next 15 years.

Geez. Nauseous thing to think about. I probably spend $15k-$20k per year scuba diving. Could have probably retired early with what I’ve spent over the years in travel, equipment, etc

I've actually had a few minutes with those controls in my hands, that's the C-150SST, right?

Does anyone know any flight instruction places around the Baton Rouge area that uses light sport planes? I can't find anything online.

Have a medical condition that might prohibit me from obtaining a class III but still would like to fly. I figured a Cessna 152 would be considered light sport but it is still to heavy.

A light sport license would be much more prohibitive than a PPL as far as flying but it would be better than nothing.

It must have been very cool to have your hands on that cockpit.

Got to fly it around the patch for a few laps, after a brief venture out over the water.

You should put your name in the hat, timing is great and they are throwing money at pilots and will be for some time.
