We stayed to the end of the game so by the time we got back to the car everybody else had left.

Maybe they can pull out the plans they used back when we had bigger crowds 15 years ago, Florida and Alabama games and had less problems then we do now. It’s like no one is in charge. Two cops standing around talking yesterday at Morning Glory and Dalrymple letting 3-4 cars turn left. Took an hour to get on campus at 2:00.

LSU’s reliance on Gourrier is an issue. Then add that so many people have to cross Nicholson or Burbank to get to their cars, and you have a huge mess.

Gourrier is way too small for the traffic it’s asked to handle with most huge free lots on one road.

My observation: there isn’t there isn’t an official start time between officers when contraflow starts. We park in 409 and left the game 10secs into 4th quarter(wore out toddler). As I pulled up on the DPS officer @ Gourrier I asked if I could start contraflow, he said sure. Got to walk-ons and voluntarily merged back over but could have taken it to circle K. This season, the whole gourrier/ burbank / lee contraflow has been a debacle.(1.5-2hrs to get to lee), and we started packing snacks and drinks for the ride home. YES we’ve stayed till the end and that’s no help either for the Gourrier ( east bound) route.
I’m no expert but I think a sign in front of walk-ons with contraflow info would help. This season, I’ve blamed: lack of officers, city of BR, DPW, disconnect between state, city, LSU.

I live in the garden district. Takes 10 minutes tops to get home. And we stay the whole game.

Forced to go to Nicholson from lot 108 on Bertman. Went almost 2 blocks in 1 hour.

Yep. That Lot and 107 are supposed to contra to River Road per LSU's map. That did not happen Saturday night. Forcing all that traffic into a side street off Nicholson heading north. With no way to get onto Nicholson (or River Road, of course). The issue is that it seems like every fckng game, something changes with the way they direct traffic off campus. It's not consistent other than Highland. And having entire roads blocked off for no apparent reason is ludicrous.
