Uh no.
You shoot one and the rest will flee or not...and you just keep shooting.
I do not think that it is being macho for a man to own, carry and know how to use a weapon. You should NEVER submit to an attacker.

if the suspects are to be believed, evidently they walked up on dad & daughter boning in the park (or were invited, its not clear), either dad or daughter or both were very drunk, and suspects subsequently negotiated access to daughter with dad either with or without consent of daughter
