Chicago wasn't far off from having more deaths than those 3 cities that rank yearly in top5. Stop falling for the Chicago BS.

now take a look at populations

Chicago isn’t particularly dangerous in comparison to other big cities

Not really sure how a community can prevent murders, other than crack down on the drug and gang culture

So you have a 0.06% chance of being murdered if you spend a year in the “worst place you could be”, and about a 0.01% chance in the “safest” place you could be

I wonder what those numbers are for 42 year old white guys that aren't involved in criminal activity? Probably pretty damn close to 0

Austin has over a million people city property nearly 2 million metro and is one of the most liberal cities in America. They’re considered one of the safest larger cities in America. I think it’s rare for them to have over 35 murders in one year.

Austin is 35% Republican. They are the ones who own the big businesses, have all he wealth, commit the fewest violent crimes, and live in the nicest neighborhoods in Austin. Austin’s suburbs are majority Republican.

But let’s look at Austin’s crime last year:

787 rapes
33,000 property crimes
26,500 theft
4,500 burglary
4,700 violent crime
Etc.....

Crime in Austin, Texas
Crime is ranked on a scale of 1 (low crime) to 100 (high crime)

Austin violent crime is 24.9. (The US average is 22.7)
Austin property crime is 55.0. (The US average is 35.4)

Not exactly an utopia. Of course if you look at where the above criminals live and almost all of these crimes are committed by liberals in Austin.

That's behind Swamp Daddy's off of MacArthur Dr. Bad news back behind there. People used to say that Levin St back there had the highest murder rate of any street in the state.
