So people ask why in the world would I move down to La from NY. Well tonight I'm down in the Lutcher area watching the Bonfires on the levee and I gotta admit it's one of the coolest festivals I've ever experienced.
I have a belly full of beer and amazing home cooked Cajun food. A friend's family invited my family to their home on River Road and they have made us feel at home.
You simply cannot match the level of hospitality and quality of food any where other than S.La. I love this state despite all it's faults bc the ppl here simply cannot be matched.
Merry Christmas Y'all!

It's fun, yet trashy in the holiday spirit Louisiana trashy-trash that you can find no where else. A special S. LA. trash, if you will.

I regret not having gone before. I'm afraid my chance has passed.
