On a side note reading this thread make me remember the water slides in Denham Springs back in the 80's.

I never went back because its a fricking circus there. Waiting an hour to slide down for 3 seconds and dealing with the trash in the lines, frick that.
Sounds like you, your "buddy" and his wife are the very definition of trash. Hope you enjoyed the 3 seconds of thrill after the hour of humility.
