Was their detainment a little over the top? Probably.

Was holding all of them until things cooled off a better idea than letting some out who could possibly kill innocent(s) in a retaliation? Definitely

If you don't want to be treated like a criminal then don't dress and act like a criminal while hanging out with criminals.

Are there trolls and assholes that come out of the woodpile anytime I post one of these threads? Sure. But this the OT. Trolls and assholes are expected. But there's plenty of others who actually see how what's happening in Waco is totally fricked up from a constitutional standpoint. And on a personal level, even more than because it's bikers this is happening to, I still believe in the principles this country were founded. And high on that list is justice and rule of law. We are a nation not of men but of laws, and the law applies to us all equally and we are all subject to the law. This is true of us bikers and it's also true of those who are supposed to uphold and defend the law. In this instance it looks like those who are supposed to uphold the law have broken that trust. And as long as this story is on-going, I'll keep updating it,

A month, maybe two?

However long it took the police to determine they were no longer a threat and/or for them to post bail.

If you were arrested for suspicion of DUI should the cops toss you the keys while you're still drunk and send you on your way?

The cops had multiple camera angles from the moment it all went down. They knew who was who and who did what from day one.

They can't analyze all that footage from every angle in a short period of time

How big do you think the police force is in Waco?

They had officers there in place before hand ready to go from the city, county, and state. They had the place surrounded and were locked and loaded. They even had their own survalence cameras set up to catch the action.

What happened in Waco was not unforeseen or even unexpected. What happened was carefully planned and orchestrated. It's no accident the Cossacks who were not members of the COC showed up that day at Twin Peaks to attend the COC meeting. They were told thay should go there by none other than the Waco PD themselves. They were told by the Waco PD they should go there and "talk to the Banditios to make peace".

Once they were there something odd happened. A prospect of the Cossacks who was in the parking lot set off the fight that led to the whole fray that day when he assaulted a Banditios officer. Odd thing about this Cossacks prospect though is even though he started it all, he was not even detained. Nor was he later charged with any crime. Instead this guy just vanished. That's right. Somehow they arrested 177 bikers that day, including ones who did nothing more than hide or run from the gunfire, even some who didn't even show up until after the whole fight was over. But somehow the one guy who started it all was not even detained.

His apartment was cleaned out and nobody knows where he went. He just fell off the side of the world. It's almost like he's a PI that's been placed in witness protection. Hmmmmmm.

You are one pathetic, sad, insignificant, stupid, worthless, motherfricker. Any place you go is worse for having you there. Any place you leave is better once you're gone.

Eh the bikers had already put everybody in the establishment in danger with their actions in the brawl. Force should have been used and was appropriate. Whatever it took to return the situation to safety immediately. At that point your chance to be warned has passed.
