Please be on the lookout in the Baton Rouge area and beyond for our beloved Mav!!! Missing since 10/31/24 last seen in the Metairie area after my daughter was in a car accident! He is a service dog for her peanut allergy!

Proably able to alert her when he smells peanuts.
Service dogs are amazing, some are trained to smell their partner's breath for pre-diabetic issues, they alert about blood glucose based on the smell of breath.
Dogs are awesome, you never hear of a service cat.

We are leaving no leaf unturned! There’s still the possibility of the red car that was spotted on the interstate with a dog of Mav’s description. Although it’s not confirmed with photos. That is why we are asking anyone between Metairie and and basically Texas to be on the lookout! We are also following a few leads of possible sightings in Metairie and Kenner but we can’t rule out that he could be anywhere outside of that area. Hence the reason for the post here! I’ve heard the tiger droppings community are the best sleuths on the planet! ?? #findmav

Is she allergic to pecans? I have an old blue heeler that roots around for pecans all day like a damn truffle pig. What's your address? I'll drop her off tomorrow.
