Also, you take a ride down to Fredericksburg if y’all like wine and whiskey. There are a bunch of winieries and Garrison Bros down that way. It’s about an hour ride to Hye Tx.

You could always check out who is at Cap City Comedy club that week for something different. They get most of the top touring comics. My prediction is that you probably won't want to leave the East Side/Rainey/W. 6th areas. There's a lot to get into between all of the bars, breweries, and restaurants. Keep an eye on the live music listings for ACL Live, Stubbs, etc.. you may need to buy tickets ahead of time of there is someone that you want to see.

Look into the amphitheater at the race track outside of town. Caught Dave up there the beginning of this year. Pretty cool venue.
