Didn't help all their defenses faced out to sea and couldn't be turned to face the Japanese who came from land

The hell ships used to transport those POWs were barbaric. The Japs of that era were pure evil.

It still didn't need to happen. Had Percival been sent what he needed, Singapore could have held put for a much longer time.
He didn't have tanks. Not enough air cover. He had the manpower and had he been given what was needed Singapore could have been a real thorn in the Nip side.
