Exactly. It's one thing to defend someone you feel is innocent or maybe even doubt is innocent but feel they deserve being defended. But what these guys are saying is rediculous. Slap in the face to Americans with what they have said.

This is not what is required of a defense attorney and it's very important defense attorneys do their job for all types of clients, not just those they "feel" are innocent.
I know this upsets people but it's the way it is and SHOULD be.

DA's are supposed to argue the facts in the most favorable light to the State.
The defense is supposed to argue facts in the most favorable light of the defendant.
A jury/judge is to determine which side has the most convincing argument applied to the standard at hand.
It's an adversarial system. It's nothing to get all worked up about, even if some sounds ridiculous.

A DA hates to lose a case so they will plea it down to almost nothing or drop it. A defense attorney only has to be creative and create doubt. They'll spew bullshite till the gavel drops
I've known several cops that later became defense attorneys. These are the guys that should have their work history examined. You don't all of the sudden lose morals
