With no crime scene tape - unguarded, apartment FULL of potential evidence?

Door was blocked by plywood. They used a pry bar to unseal the apartment.

Exactly. Old man let's in overzealous press. There is no cover up but incompetence.

Same thing, FT - go back and look at the footage, and then, with a straight face, make the argument there was nothing left to exploit.

I'll wait...

but who am I to question how the FBI handles a crime scene A taxpayer (presumably)

So as a tax payer I know more about the house and evidence inside than the FBI?

This is just fricking dumb

I don't disagree with this. What I'm calling bullshite on is that the scene was actually released last night. I think that's just a poor CYA attempt by the people that fricked u

Okay. Yeah perhaps. Certainly plausible.

Was the crime scene cleared in your opinion?

Not buying that.

They had Holmes' apt locked down for weeks.

So the FBI is really that incompetent?

More than likely local cops not watching the apartment caused this.

I don't think it was. FBI may have been done with it....doesn't mean other law enforcement agencies with jurisdiction were.

This "crime scene was cleared" line is obviously wrong. There were still evidence bags in the apartment. People are saying that to cover their asses for tampering with a crime scene.

No. As a tax payer you have the right to question them.

And the FBI is covering for them by saying it was cleared?

See, that goes back to a conspiracy of some sort, then - even at a low level.

Can't have it both ways - can't trust the FBI to handle it and have this. They're either incompetent or corrupt.

I mean, I've never worked a day of law enforcement in my life but I wouldn't leave shredded documents and evidence bags lying around. So yeah, I obviously know more about crime scene exploitation than the FBI does.

Isn't their schtick the big picture? So they leave identity documents, electronics, an iPhone?

I didn't believe it was happening. I don't believe the FBI now. I need a better explanation - from them - why a truck load of potential evidence was discarded after only 1 day in the apartment.

I'm sure the Feds have electronic access to any records pertaining to driver's licenses and passports. Electronic records would tell far more than the hard copy anyway. They don't need a hard copy as long as they know the identities.

You seriously have no internal alarms going off when you saw computers, drivers license, passports, shredded paper, computers, electronics, etc still left in the apartment? The FBI is having to go on record and say they were done, but that is complete bullshite.
