This is absurd, and I doubt you actually believe it.

The 8 people who died along with Kobe in that crash was just as important as his life. They didn't have Kobe's notoriety and money, but without basketball Kobe would've been just an average Joe.

I mean sure, if we ignore his global influence, he was just another guy. But he wasn't. The other 8 lives are tragic as well. But Kobe had an affect on many many more lives than any random person. No idea why some people can't just admit that

If you're this ignorant, there's not much I can say that will sway you.

ETA and I've seen enough of your posts in the various Kobe threads to know it's not worth wasting my time with you

People who say this shite is stupid. Look every life is valuable, but when someone is well known, has fans all around the world, etc it will automatically get more attention than the passing of a bus driver in Des Moine.

There are people who became basketball fans because of Kobe, there are people who watched him play for 20 years. He impacted people with his charity work. He was the most requested person for Make a wish foundation. He gave kids joy who didn't have much time left.

Yes he had his faults, but show me a man who doesn't, however; if you don't understand why his death gains more attention than.. a bus driver in Des Moine, then I have to question how much common sense you have.

What’s next? What was the last meal Kobe ate. What was his last drink? What was the last article of clothing he purchased? Last order on amazon?

I've been waiting on his last shite, can you imagine how that toilet feels?

Your comments are weak and I didn't care much for Kobe.

I once saw a girl crying in class at college because she found out Roy Orbison had died. He was old and he wasn't uber popular. But he touched this chick's life to the point that it affected her when he died.

Millions of people have watched and loved Kobe Bryant. You may not like sports hero worship but it occurs. That is a simple fact. So yes, his death will affect people more than the other 7 in the chopper. I don't know the other 7. Haven't ever watched them play basketball or seen them on a talk show.

Once again, you can have a beef with hero worship but to deny it exists is fricking stupid.

A few celebrities have stunned me. think I was most affected by Robin Williams and maybe Bill Paxton. That one came out of nowhere and I always like him.

The martyrdom of his death shows the culture we live in.
