This thread is getting sidetracked on the question of whether or not he should have gone to jail. I think that is a separate issue from the real problem, namely what happened to him once he was in jail.
And for the record (again) I have no issue with the fact this guy was put in jail.

Might be alotta things but a fake arse hard arse is not one of them. I've lost friends and family members to drug addiction was on the road to losing myself to it. So hate me for not having sympathy for a drug addict.
