I’m pretty sure the old shitty zoo we had here in CC was involved in an incident where they sold cougars to people as house pets.

I don't even like cats but those are cute arse kittens. And I doubt that family got anymore injured from the bobcat kittens than I did from some of the kittens my mom brought home when I was growing up.

Not so much if you catch a full grown one in a trap (set for beavers). That was one pissed off cat. Had to use two catch poles (one on head and the other on one of the back feet to keep him from attacking us while we got the paw out.
The low growl he kept making was quite unsettling. But he ran off seemingly unharmed.

I was at the gas station this weekend and notice a guy's car had damage underneath his right wheel fender. I went over and told him about the damage and he told me he hit a bobcat at night a few days earlier.
I was like yea, do you have any pics of the dead animal. Nope....

Three people in Texas suffered minor injuries over the weekend after mistaking two bobcat kittens for domestic kittens and bringing them inside the house, according to local authorities. The kittens were found in an alleyway in San Antonio on Saturday, San Antonio Animal Care Services spokeswoman Lisa Norwood told ABC News. After the three acquaintances brought the kittens inside, they were bitten and scratched as they were trying to feed the bobcat kittens milk for domestic kittens, Norwood said. The trio had the bobcat kittens for about a day and a half before they realized they were not housecats
Honestly sounds like some shite my girlfriend would do.
No pics that are TD acceptable on my phone. Sorry

My great uncle picked up two kittens at a rest stop outside Ruston back on 1980 thinking they were cats dropped off by someone who didn't want them after his daughter found them.
Later to his amazement they kept growing. My grandpa told me those two Bobcats were great pets and protected the family admirably. Only two people outside the family could come inside without having to out then in another room, my grandpa and my mom.

Said it paced and watched every move you made when you entered the house. Would never lose sight.
The male would sit directly across from him and just stare at him as he would talk or interact with his Uncle. But, he never attacked him or tried to hurt him.
But, as you said, No F-in way if that is me. Nope.
