It could be a mixture of real footage with staged footage.
For example, have you ever seen those fake Chevy commercials where that guy inserts himself into the commercials and makes fun of Chevys? For example:

Damn I’m good. One thing that tipped me off to it being fake is that it’s clear that the footage was a video taken of a video. Meaning, this video was playing on a laptop or something and somebody used their phone camera to record their laptop screen.
The people who made this fake may have done that because it hides flaws in the original fake.
