You're about 15 years too late, there was a doctor in New Orleans East who could have helped but Pharmacist Dan put an end to that.

Geez man that’s awful. Weren’t you pulling like 600+ a year or two ago?

Yeah and I don’t plan on stopping lifting. Haven’t lifted heavy dead’s in awhile. Probably why I have this issue. Haven’t been keeping up with stretching and getting a weak core.

Sorry to hear that. I think we’re roughly same age and have young kids. I can’t imagine not being able to lift for my own sanity.
I wrenched my back over the summer and it took regular chiropractic visits/time off from pulling and squats before it felt right again. I didn’t squat/deadlift much even after my chiro. gave me the green light until I saw a post on the H/F board about Squatober. Now my core fees stronger than ever before. My $.02, If you’re not able to pull/squat you should try do some heavy farmer carries/suitcase carries to build up the core. It will help more than you’d imagine… I hope you find the secret sauce and get better soon.

Find a legit PT to look at your back. They can do the same manipulations a chiro can but care about patient safety and actual outcomes more. A great place to go would Delta PT or anywhere with an ICE trained physio
