If he's from Louisiana it could be San Diego or Paris Island depending on what year he went to boot camp. I went to San Diego in 1997. I think you go to Paris Island now if you're from Louisiana.

THIS. It seems like every young Marine I meet always seems to have been a "Marine Recon Sniper." Jeez, dude, there's no shame in admitting you worked on trucks during your time in the service if, in fact, you were actually IN the service.
