As for as who does the work on the event.. Whether its a parade, ball, etc.. members of the krewe do the work. In many cases, each year they have a different theme. As for as the floats, I am sure there are some who own their own.. But there are people who rent floats. For a lot of krewes, they spend a year's work of preparing for the following year.

As soon as their event ends for the year, they start planning for the next.

Satan worshipers. Aka dirty wankers. Buttox diddliers. Fornicating with aminal types of folk. That's what a krewe is and if you talk to someone in a krewe your only hope is salvation. I'ma pray for you.
