James Tiberius Kirk will live in infamy, Billy Shatner’s 90 y.o. arse will need Kevlar diapers & a new toupee by weeks end. I’m jealous.

3GS is nothing, you can pull 3GS in s single engine Cessna , the most noticeable effect is lifting your arms becomes more of a effort.

Fair enough. But my point is specifically to Shatner, a 90 year old, who until very recently wasn't exactly a steely-eyed missile man, but a schlubby sci-fi actor.

(I ask this knowing full well that he has received at least *some* screening for this mission. But I just can't imagine that he is the optimal guy for such exertion.)

Whoever is in charge of the flight will probably screw something up, forcing Shatner to take command and save the day.
