How much do you have to learn about the holocaust to consider organizing the machinery for killing 6 million people is something you don't do?

I think it is more that Hitler (as well as Japan) supported Indian Nationalism to try to cause the British additional problems during WWII. A good number of Indians bagged in N Africa by the Germans formed an Indian Legion in the German Army.

Churchill, responsible for many more deaths in India is the more reviled target in that country and rightly so. He ignored famine leading to 3M dying and was openly racist, history however gives him a pass (Churchill happened to be on the American winning side).

Also, Hitler openly stole the Swastika and the concept of Aryan race/superiority from Indian texts, giving them somewhat of a reason on jumping on that warped logic.
