Ever considered keeping a Dream Journal?

I know that numerous times I've had very vivid dreams that I've been awakened from. I go back to sleep, and in the morning I can only remember bits and pieces, or maybe just a theme. Two nights ago I had one of those dreams, but when I woke up from it, I took some notes about it on my phone. The next morning I was able to reflect on the details of the dream, as well as consider its cause and meaning. Pretty refreshing.
Psychologists believe that dream journaling can provide insight into our behavior and actually be a life tool. I'm not going to provide specific links, but if you google "dream journal", there are several articles as to its uses, as well as how-to guides and even an app for your phone.

All I can remember usually is the dream was weird. Cant remember why it was weird though.

I had a very vivid dream that I got carjacked, only to realize it wasn’t a dream and I was just in New Orleans.
