I said some of you Christians. Not necessarily him. But ok this guy is basically telling us to just accept Jesus and any of our sins will be forgiven. But do it before it's too late. But hey I'm supposed to sit here and think this dude has never lusted after a woman? How about envied his neighbor? This guy is a sinner like the rest of us.

Doesn't necessarily make OP a hypocrite. Now, if he/she went full Jimmy Swaggart then I'd agree with you.

It takes faith to believe that in a universe where calamity, and chaos prevails, that perfectly designed human beings would come to be.

Humans are perfect? We're just animals like every other creature on this planet bro..

Good luck. There's a lot of good souls here but also many godless unwitting servants of Satan.

Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.

God is God. You are not. I suppose you can take a moral stance against the one who created you...but I wouldnt recommend it

No doubt God blessed many people with intelligence, knowledge, wealth, health etc and some he didnt. Its foolish to try and comprehend the ways of God.

I am a natural skeptic...I do doubt sometimes, and I do wonder but I use reason and personal experience to determine that there definitely is a God. I am more intelligent than most people...my uncle was a nuclear physicist on the Manhattan Project. I find it incredibly illogical to come to the determination that despite all odds, and contrary to all laws of nature, intelligent life somehow came about from the void nothingness of space.

ve sort of come to the viewpoint that the existence of some higher power isn't that illogical, but the assumption that any of us have correctly and absolutely figured out "higher power" out of the the infinite possibilities, is quite unlikely.

All religion does is tell you how your relationship with that higher power should be.

I do know this, more than half this planet is wrong.

Hey. He gave me the ability to question him, so I'm doing what God gave me.

I'm not doubting your intelligence, but it seems funny using your uncle as support--even though we know there is heritability.

I never said he was, I think Christians as a whole, are fricking hypocrites.

Catholics tell people they will go to hell for eating meat on Friday. I mean, come the frick on man. Christians battle with each other on what's acceptable or not.

All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God -Romans 3:23

God called an adulterer and murderer a man after His own heart.

No one is good or righteous before a righteous God. The Christian Church is one full of liars, adulterers, swindlers, lusters, cheaters, robbers, the prideful, the ungrateful, even murderers. If a man claims he is righteous...he is a liar

Let's cut out all this nonsense and get down to brass tacks. Protestants vs Catholics

What the hell are you Catholics doing?

Sure, he also gave you the ability to deny Him...not a good thing to do

You are free to doubt whatever you want...im just a random Joe from the internet. I am smart enough to be able to contemplate deep subjects like this. There have been men FAR more intelligent than me that have believed. Any true intellectual should seriously ponder all possibilities, including a creator.

Good Good... the "I-believe-in-a-higher-power-but-don't-think-any-religion-is-right" phase is in an import step on the road becoming an atheist. It means you have opened your mind.
