That's out in WEST Texas, cowboy... if you go to South Texas expecting mountainous country, prepare to be disappointed.

I hope you mean southwest Texas, as in the region we are discussing. The Big Bend region.

I knew some folks that had a house across the street from the court house that was used in the filming of Giant. Of course this was years before it became the hot spot for the famous to get away from it all.

I rarely go to Marfa, because Im not "cool" enough as a local. It is entertaining to watch the tourists walk around taking selfies and thinking they are realy something because they are in Marfa. "Look at me"
