It's graduation, a celebration. If anyone deserves to stand down and cut up it is that group. Tomorrow their real service begins. She survived plebe year and met physical, mental and academic standards of our top military institution. Congratulate her.

Are you fuqin serious. Graduation my arse. When I was In the Army you would've gotten punched in the stomach for some shite like that. You'd be lucky not to have everyone in your platoon not to beat you for hours on end. Its a matter of respect, tradition and formality.
People like that are why were in countries for 15 years and are no better than when we started. Next thing will be the Guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier will be playing

This pales in comparison to Biden's commencement "diversity" speech. Watched it live, this a-hole (that's right VP Biden) pointed out with cameras the first WP Cadet to openly come out and announce as gay. It is hard for anything to catch me off guard at me age, but dammed, this is actually celebrated now at West Point.
