Well then are disagreement is this simple. The hijab is a great example of why it would be effective. But we can just disagree on that

Even if men and women were required to wear hijabs in the workplace, they still would not be equal.

That’s the whole point. You can’t complain that you’re being treated differently than men and that you’re being sexualized if you’re actively participating in that behavior.

I agree, but most of those that I've known who have dressed provocatively never jon that chorus, fully understanding that it benefited them. The few that were vocal in that manner usually only had looks going for them. Just my experience.

you’re really struggling here.

Would they be more or less equal with respect to appearance? More or less? Think hard

I'm not.

Yes. If they wore the exact same thing from head to toe they would be equal in appearance.

If your entire point was this silly reductionist argument then I gave you way too much credit.

Now tell me what how being equal in appearance matters in a work place? Especially when it comes to human nature/biology.

Well why does the hijab work? What’s its purpose?

Does it? Especially in the context of this thread?

A woman can still signal her sexuality with a hijab FWIW

yep

Because it limits the degree to which women can sexualize their appearance. I’m having to explain the extremes to you because you’re having trouble with the basics (or being obtuse).

What’s more visually stimulating: A woman in a bikini or a woman in a hijab?

No

You are having to use extreme examples because your point is so flimsy

In a vacuum? The woman in a bikini, obviously.

In this equal workplace you are creating, an attractive woman in an hijab could stimulate the same feelings.

That is the point.

Now you’ve got me. No recovery in sight. Okay, let’s talk burka

Your argument that appearance do don’t matter is illogical.

Ok.

Then yes, if you completely remove a person's ability to signal sexuality through means of physical projection, then yes, you can remove that one aspect from the workplace.

Congrats. You proved your point by putting a blanket over people.

No. I illustrated that there can be limits, because you were struggling with that. It's not all or nothing, but sexuality can be limited, and it's impactful to how people interact.

You illustrated that if you completely cover a person up, they cannot project their sexuality.

Removing the extreme position of putting a blanket over people, I disagree.

You are trying to regulate basic human nature/biology.

That never works.
