You could slash all the DEI and touchy feel good shite altogether and that wouldn't get you a fraction of the way to a 75% org cut.

Corporate America is pumping a LOT more money into this bullshite than you seem to realize.

So unless you keep up or increase manpower to reduce bots they have to be counted as well.

Do you use Twitter regularly?

Don’t get confused. This a move to shore up the company’s profitability. He’s not spending 10’s of billions to make a political statement.

Just like many of the FAANG’s there’s layer after layer of useless middle management that offer nothing in terms of output. Cutting out the fat isn’t a bad idea. Top technical performers will be retained. Musk is making the right call.

Some of you guys clearly have never been in the vicinity of systems that have to support thousands of users 24/7, much less the tens of millions of users across the planet that Twitter has to support.

Apparently you know nothing about me or the line of work I have been in since the 90s.

It is so much easier now with these dumbed down systems, than the actual real work we had to do back in the day.

Twitter, while large volume, is a very basic system when it comes to complexity.
