Been about 8 months since I last checked out Elio information, apparently they offered up stock last month and raised about $17MM. Company has a valuation of over $1B now! Obviously that number is inflated though.

Still no production cars, but now they say there is enough money to build the 25 prototypes for final testing. Production slated for the end of 2016, but that shite ain't happening.

Anyone keeping up with these guys, anyone buy the stock last month?

Nice. I was under the impression that everyone in Shreveport had all but given up on them ever actually making it to production.

I am highly skeptical, but they keep taking baby steps it seems.

It would be nice for them to fully deliver on a statement just once. For instance, build there 25 prototypes in the next 6 months, hell I'd believe if they built them in the next year.

That's incredible.

Half as wide as a 4-wheel vehicle
I had a Jeep Wrangler for a few years and it was narrower than your average vehicle. When driving down an asphalt highway, it felt like I was going to lose control due to the deep grooves worn into the road by larger, heavier vehicles. On Louisiana highways, this car will get beat to death.

Elio is a sham. They will continue to run into "roadblocks" as they have been the past few years.

They havent fastened one fricking bolt but continue to be gifted hundreds of thousands of dollars because "this is what is required to get past this and take the next step".
