Editing the "News" option on iPhone

If you slide to the left on the home screen it show the last contacts that you messaged or call and it has 4 or 5 news stories. All of which are from CNN, NYtimes, or the Washington Post. Needless to say their stories and "opinions" suck booty hole. Anyone know how to customize it?

I'm using my wife's iPhone until I get my Samsung s7 replacement in..... Because Google is soooo much more objective

I thought this was going to be about the News App on iPhone, which I absolutely love. Nothing I have encountered to date allows me to tailor my news sources to this degree. I check it probably 10 times a day.

Was thinking about this today. Pisses me off even after you unfollow cnn and nyt they still show up.

Having the same issue, it drives me up the wall when I scroll over there.
