I went through a tornado when I was about 12. I’ve never forgotten what that was like.

On average the market is about 80/20 pond to basin over the course of a season.

Depends on high water, low water, cold fronts, etc


I’m just fricking with you, you already know that.

Spillway hasn’t even picked up yet, we’re way behind this year, always behind ponds but a lot later this year.

Do yall buy from independent fishermen throughout the season or just through late May - early July (if at all)?

I know a place that always bought from fishermen then got their own ponds 4 or 5 years ago.. But they also still buy from fishermen throughout the year, but it all depends on their orders.
