I actually started to listen to this one today. It is pretty interesting.

I didn't realize in order for a group to be considered a terrorist group they have to be politically motivated.

In other words, if there is a drug gang that does terrorist type acts, in their area, they would not be classified as a terrorist group because its not inspired by any type of political agenda.

I didn’t know Mexico only has one gun store and it’s in Mexico City owned by the government. So if you live in Cancun you have to fly to Mexico City to buy a gun or get it on the black market.

That dude is a drama queen. Wish I’d thought of that business plan first.

Nope. That’s bullshite just like most of what Ed says. By his logic, Al Qaeda wouldn’t be considered a terrorist organization.

Yet they are. Which means his logic is wrong. He’s a yarn spinner.

Terrorism absolutely requires political or social motivation.

And in what world would Al Qaeda’s actions not be considered political in nature? Their stated mission is the institution of Sharia law across all nations.

He said he thinks there will be US troops on the ground in Mexico in 5 years because of how bad it’s going to get in with the cartel running the country.

They have attacked military bases in a few countries right?

There are countries that are ran by Sharia Law. In those situations politics and religion are intertwined with one another. This is similar to how Al Quaeda works. How did you come to this conclusion?
