Soon enough people will claim the ebola outbreak is a biological weapon

There are plenty of people here who already think that the US brought ebola here. I would say our troops are at a bit of risk heading to Liberia. Tons of people there still have weapons from the civil war and aren't informed enough to understand why a bunch of troops just showed up. I worked in and out of Liberia for a year. Feel bad for what's happening there but sending in troops vs. supplies is a bad idea. They just need better supplies, they have the people to do what they need to do to stop the spread of ebola.

According to Brian Williams, the primary mission of the US troops will be to build 72 medical clinics and training add'l locals to staff the clinics. The 3,000 include Engineers, medical personnel and some MPs to provide security.
They're also bringing medical supplies, including 10,000 HazMat suits.

If they want to build anything they better bring a bunch of heavy equipment and dirt. The entire city of Monrovia is built on a swamp.
