The fact that this is a serious thread shows us how far the OT has fallen in recent years.

I've tripped on psilocybin mushrooms maybe a dozen times in my younger days. They were not that hard to recognize as the grow out of, or near, cow shite and have a purple skirt underneath the umbrella. Couple guys I went to school with ate the wrong ones once and ended up at the hospital getting their stomach pumped. Obviously it wasn't the Death Cap or they wouldn't have survived.

Back in the 70’s I heard the story multiple times of my grandfather seeing a group of “hippies” in his cow pasture picking mushrooms. Well he wasn’t having that and ran them off while swinging a stick at them. Only a couple years ago a friend of my late dad’s started telling the story using my dad instead of grandfather. I corrected him and he said oh your dad never told you huh. Said my dad tried the same tactic on another group of “hippies” and they beat the shite out of him!

Your know what else is crazy? You can eat steak raw as tartar but they tell you even slightly undercooked chicken can get you sick. Makes no sense.

You should try some chicken tartare tonight. Just lightly salt & pepper it. Report back.
