They really aren't that good.

Well you don't exactly export the best you have to offer.

That explains why your family left Cuba, eh? Did your daddy come over on a plywood raft when Castro released all the prisoners?

Nope, I was born in Cuba. Dad came over first and the rest of us about 8 years later.

My friend's wife has a home in havana.

Since he passed, she brings us the cigars.

Not that great, but they remind us of him.

Some tall tales being spun on the OT this evening...h

ETA: And I'll take a Dominican Fuente Opus X over any cigar currently coming out of Cuba.

That would be horrible for future business. If I managed or owned that place and my bonus depended on revenue, I'd quickly tell the cops to cut that shite out immediately.
Had a convenience store manager tell me that when there are cops in the parking lot, even if they already have someone pulled over or whatever, that their business basically drops to zero until they leave.

A lot of the top cigar makers left Cubs years ago and add that to the state owning the companies you get a lesser product.

If you want a genuine great Cuban cigar, go to Cubs and find the old man that rolls them in his house
