What do you call Duck Tape that isn't duct tape? Do you still call it Duck Tape?

The modern silvery tape that you're enquiring about is/was called "duct" tape - commonly used as a sealant on ducting. It was however, modeled after an earlier product called "duck" tape - a tape that was made of waterproof cotton duckcloth...
