Just assume everything done on a computer is logged somehow.

It's a lot more than just prescriptions. She denied giving several test. She changed those to on the chart.

Patients have online portals for whatever system they are in. There is a database that holds everything.

I don’t think you know what you’re taking about

We know about the editing history, we have copies of test, the Dr's prescription, bills, etc.. Just wondering how to handle this, like contacting a medical board, a lawyer will also contacted asap.

Echarts record everything. From any time anyone accesses the record, to any time the record is edited. Nice try, though.

There is no hiding anything in an echart.

As an HIM professional, I know what I speak.

I thought you were more into male Dr's.
Thinking isn’t your best trait.

Leave it to others.

Get back to work.

Three people involved with this work in the medical field. They know what they are talking about.

What the Dr did is unbelievable but it's 100% true. The person involved has been dealing with Lupus since she was a teenager, now mid 20s. The Dr. said she didn't even have it after she was the final conformation that she did.

Was this billed through private insurance, Medicaid, private pay, etc? The insurance companies have their one investigative units. The state has it's MFCU. Im not sure who you would call if it was private pay.

Why do you keep changing your fake story?

First you said this

quote:

I know someone who was over prescribed medication and the Dr. blamed the patient and then flagged them for prescription abuse. Then the Dr changed the charts to cover it up.

Now you’re saying something completely different

I can attest to this. Speaking from personal experience.

Positive

The Dr. said she didn't even test her. This person showed the Dr. the test results on her phone.

It's like this Dr. lost her mind. She denied everything.

Probably shouldn’t have shot up the naproxen thinking it was an opioid

Yeah OP is an idiot.

I still don’t know what his gripe is about and why he’s worried about it.

Drs have mal insurance for gold diggers like the OP

I doubt the doctor is trying to cover up tests that support her prescribing lupus medication. Your story doesn’t make sense

Because the Dr. did all of this. It's like she tried to erase everything.

I wish it was all made up, and this person was perfectly healthy for the first time in 10yrs.

Now she has to start all over with a new Dr.

That’s not how this works. The pharmacy has adjudication records with the insurance showing the authorizing provider for the scripts on them.

So even if the physicians office is all on paper and shredded every file on the patient. There’s still going to be a trail at the pharmacy and the clinic billing side when they charged for these visits.

If this is an electronic medical record, what you are describing would be impossible. No doctor would be this stupid.
