I would include that you're insured on your flyers also. And you should be able to do maintenance during the weekdays while customers are at work.

My first job was hanging door hangers for a pizza place over the summer for $3.35/hour, I think. I got in trouble for drinking out of someones water hose and they also said I threw all my flyers down a water drain (which I swear I did not) and I got fired one day. Me and my friend still talk about 30 years later. We did nothing wrong and really tried to do a good job.

I would go on Nextdoor site and target a specific subdivision or two.
Have a couple of your current customers chime in and recommend you do great work under your post.
Depends on the area and rates. In Baton Rouge, avg size lawn was $50 and in Houston its $25. As a result, I don't think a single neighbor cuts their own grass.
I would not use flyers. You may spend $200 for 600-700 door hangers and hopefully get 20 jobs from those but at $25 each lawn you would need to hope they retain you each and every week.

Mine was for Milanos Pizza in Central which was or became Fast Times Pizza at some point. So we're the same people, just different persons. Ha

Why I said hopefully. I have seen several low budget flyers as well such as business card in ziploc bag and a few landscaping rocks inside to weigh it down.
Or better yet 8 1/2x11 piece of paper on each door
But online is probably the way to go and supplement with flyers but key is to have several exisiting customers chime in saying he does great work, etc..
