$3600 paid for my Dogo. Surgery expensive but worth it. Issue for us has been the required 8 weeks of confinement. For a 95lb dog this is tough but we are week 7. After 8 weeks then rehab starts

My dog would be a crippled gymp before I spent 3500 bucks on his arse.

I know that I'm biased, and that's why I've been giving he up votes, but I would definitely inquire about the LSU Vet School. They do some amazing things there. My daughter is graduating next May from there and she will be one of the best prepared vets out there. You need to check them out. It will be worth the trip.

Our dog tore the ACL, and the surgery was a little over $900 and that included 3 follow up visits included.
My wife and I then spent almost 3 weeks sleeping in the floor with her, she wasn't supposed to move very much for at least a few days. That was the worst part.
We put down blankets on the floor, and bought those pee pads at Sams/Costco, and she basically used that for a couple of days till she seemed ready to take a few steps.
After about 3 days, she seemed to want to go outside, so I carried her down the steps and she was able to gingerly squat and poop.
It was about 3 weeks total before we felt like leaving her alone for long stretches, and didn't let her get where she would try to jump up on the couch or anything.

Just leave him outside at night. A bobcat should take care of this

Had my Scottie done last Nov at Carrollton Vet $1800. Probably more for a large dog.
Excellent place. I assume it was Dr. Algero?
