That crowd puts straws in champagne glasses and martini glasses.
The glassware specific crowd is the same as the I need a straw crowd. Very low rent.

One of my favorite days ever I was with a bunch of twenty-somethings from a bunch on New England colleges and I had 3 girls from LSU visiting who were barely 21. The guys ordered rum fruity drinks and the girls from NOLA ordered some sort of bourbon (not all the same) either on the rocks or with a splash. They called the baws from NE out for drinking like something other than people who have done this before.

I drink wine out of a mason jar.

I drink mint juleps out of a mason jar. Whenever I make up a batch ahead of time instead of making them fresh I’ll store two pints in the fridge. Grab another pint jar and fill it with ice and pour it over it. Grab a straw and enjoy my trashy level.
