The actual flu has vaccines. The mortality rate for COVID-19 is much higher than flu. IF, and this is what people are trying to prevent, we see an exponential spike in infected, the hospitals will not be able to treat everyone (again, we have treatments for normal flu).

Think of it like owning Amazon stock at $1 back in 1998. Sure, it is small, but the potential for growth is staggering.

The US just needs to make it past the first wave; and give hospitals time to develop the vaccine. Then we will be good again.
